Services Available for Your Pet

Surgical

We perform a broad spectrum of surgical procedures.  Soft tissue surgeries include routine spay/neuter as well as a range of more specialized procedures surgeries such as cesarean sections, mass removals, abdominal exploratory procedures, and many more.

We also offer a wide spectrum of orthopedic surgeries including CCL (ACL) repair, femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO), patellar luxation correction, and fracture repairs.

Anesthetic protocols are individualized for each patient and supplemented with inhalant gas anesthesia to ensure a smooth, comfortable experience. Patients are continuously monitored—including heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation—to maximize safety and promote rapid recovery.

Medical Examinations and Diagnosis

Bring your pets to us for your pet's annual vaccinations and complete medical examinations.

With our in-house laboratory, we can do comprehensive and pre-surgical blood profiles, intestinal parasite analysis, heartworm and tick screenings, and urinalysis. More specialized tests may be sent to a referral lab.

We also have x-ray and ultrasound capabilities for further diagnostic workup.

Dental

For all of your pet's dental needs, bring them to the Brainerd Animal Hospital, Brainerd, MN. From scaling of tartar to polishing and extractions, we do everything here.

Pharmaceutical and Dietary

We stock many commonly used medications needed for your pet's health. If we do not carry any medicine you need, we can provide prescriptions to another pharmacy of your choosing.

We also carry Hill's Prescription Diet for your pet's specific health concerns. We also can special order Royal Canin or Purina Veterinary diets if needed.

Chiropractic

We offer veterinary chiropractic care to address spinal and musculoskeletal issues in pets. This manual therapy helps improve mobility, relieve pain, and support overall health by restoring proper function to the spine and nervous system.
